When it comes to that region at all, I don't think anyone will ever "win". I would suggest everyone else just stay out of it, or whoever goes in to help will be accused of being the cause of it.

Since the Arab nations in the region don't seem all that interested in helping their people I see no reason for me to worry about it either.

Good question, The Palestinian people like any others in the world are basically good and deserving of assistance.
Unfortunately, the world to include their Muslim brothers are using them as fodder for their conflict(s) with Israel. Combine that with the corruption of past leaders, influence of other countries, terrorists groups, poor support from the west and the ignorance or failure to recognize what's happening by both the Palestinians and Israelies and no amount of financial help or intervention will ever solve the problem.
I hate to say sit and do nothing but I see no action completed to date make any real difference. Nothing will change until the people there come to a unified conclusion and act.

The quran teaches that we should not involve ourselves with other peoples business.
The Palestinians are Muslim.
Logic dictates that we observe their teachings.
And leave well alone...cause it ain't our business.

I've learned to spell their country correctly and even researched their peoples history what more should I be asked to do???
I feel the same about many of these of "new" nations( right).
Their history with one another is over 100 times longer then United States.

I am guessing I may be one of them. Did some research a while back, and what I found made me sympathetic to the Israel, not the other side, at all.

Well, considering that even the different sects can’t agree on what that text says, not going to pay much heed to any interpretations, and that one just made me laugh considering those who are calling this a holy war are definitely not staying out of everyone else’s business.

Logic tells me to be just as suspicious of anyone spouting rhetoric from that text as a looney bible thumper that twists that text. And as long as they show disrespect for other teachings, they don’t deserve to be given any.
