But what about women??? Is it equally acceptable to see a younger man and an older woman??? Is there ever an age gap that is 'too wide' in either case??

I have been married to a man older than me by 14 yrs and I have dated men younger than me by 16 years and at first when people found out how old he was they thought I was looney but after they saw how we were together, everyone said we were perfect for each other and the age thing went away! We were together for 5 years..had to move for my job and he couldn't come with me..I still see him from time to time

I don't think the age matters if the two people involved get along and they don't have a problem with it. Me personal have always gone out with older men. Feel uncomfortable dating a man that is anymore then 5 yrs younger then me.

I'm more comfortable with the older man younger woman scenario than the other way around, although there are a couple of younger guys around who are not only hot but mature.

I think it depends on the level of maturity of the person...I have known men that are my age that were very immature and dishonest. The younger ones are sweet and very open and communicative.

The age wasn't an issue, in either case, for me. I would say, they both had a far bigger problem with it then I did...

When I was younger I seemed to be men 11 to 16 years older. Since I have been dating at this age, I have been dating younger men. I have been dating a man who is 16 years younger. His comment on our last date was that I act like a little girl. Ummm, yes he does bring that out in me. I love it. Such freedom.
