Yeah, most men are dogs, but all can be domesticated, unlike cats, who are very much like women, and essentially always remain wild animals. All they really want from a human is to be fed, provide a place to live, and be there when they want some affection, all on their terms....they can be utterly ruthless, watch a cat play with a mouse, and if you don't buy the right sort of cat food, they defect without a second thought and start sleeping at the neighbours house...rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Yeah rolling on the floor laughing seems to me like you've been around cats wink and maybe even had one for a while...
Though, you forgot to list some pros...like if you spoil them right, they're appreciative and devoted, as well are much cuter than dogs...and their "purrs and mews" make your heart melt...sure, they don't go for a kill right away, they're playful natures:)....their silky fur is utterly pleasant against your skin...and cats smell good...statistic shows people with cats have less percentage of a heart attack.....they don't mess up your house and your car, take care of themselves and ask just for a little attention since they have a pretty busy lives:), unlike dogs who can't be left alone and jump on you as soon as you open the door...
Cats are peaceful and satisfied with a nice owner...

I'm sure you can add more pluses of owning a cat...

Good morning dear Awesome!!
Well, risking a dog and cat fight here, we could argue all day about the pros and cons of owning either....let's just say that both have their moments...and I'll agree with you that animals save the lives of their owners.....I think a lot of old people would die without their pets....if you want a really contentious animal-rights story....check out :

The Killing Fields of South Africa: Elephants in the Crosshairs of Extinction

PS: I happen to disagree with a lot of the article....but this takes the discussion way beyond domestic pets...

Lagoona,

Are you trying to infer that some women are like cats and that other women are like elephants?
