I know.. I have met a few but it seems Portland and Vancouver has a pleathora of them.. Move to Central Oregon , some of the best girls are here.

I agree I have been in portland for about a month now and I sometime I wonder how I got here. Then I remember that I lived on a bus for three days to come here. But anyways all the dating sites are some what like this. You search for the one that jumps out and knocks you off your feet. It is a long and not always fun search. But I still try, I know I'm not the most handsome guy out there. But I am nice and treat women right so I have faith and I know she is out there somewhere. I am a good guy but if you read everyone's post they all start looking the same. And then you add the spamers into the bunch and it just makes things worse. Then you have the pics which most people look better in real person then on their profile or the other way around. Depends on perception at least it would be my guess.

I really hate to say this but I think he's right! I'm trying to change that though and find the good guys. They just seem to be harder to find than the bad boys.

I WAS THINKING THE SAME WAY. I GET NO RESPONSES FROM ANY WOMEN IN OREGON TOO. DOESN'T ANYBODY WANT TO HAVE FUN, OR ARE THEY ALL GONE NOW.
I'm right here. There is no reason to give up in Oregon. There are bad apples in every state. You just have to catch the ripe apples before they hit bottom. Don't go for the first line. Let me know what you think.

home, sweet home, I say. Read the poem "The Right Kind Of People" sometime. Whether or not you are contented in this life depends on what is within you, not what is outside of you. (like geography....) I'm a good debate team member, though, and I will say that some of the most grounded/balanced people I have known have been, of all things, military brats! So, it is true that a change of scenery can be the deciding factor. (I could not be happy in the desert or the ice and snow, for instance.)More Threads
