I figured with all the depressing posts about war and such that I would post a more positive post. Not that a good debating and serious post is a bad thing. Just sometimes you need a little optimism to focus on for once right?

For me is feeling the baby kick outside of my stomach. For a few weeks I have been feeling the movements but they were more flutters and not too strong. But the past few days the flutters have turn into hard kicks and I can now feel it outside the tummy.

(I am almost 19 weeks along...Due date Feb 25th 2008)

**And yep I have posted this over in Intl as well but would like to ask my canadian peeps as well :o)

Well that was a nice post. It is nice to read something positive and even a little more on the serious side. I am new on this site and already getting a bit tired of forums. It seems that some are here for just that, the forums. That is fine if that is what you want but I am amazed at how much time people spend posting and reading threads. No wonder there are so many single people. Do people really sit in front of the computer all day? I guess maybe I better shut up because I am straying from the subject. Just wanted to say I liked what you wrote. As for me I think my time on this site is done.

Such a wonderful feeling, feeling life hug

My highlight of the day, helping my oldest unpack all her kitchen stuff and placing everything in her new kitchen which took a couple of months. Now she has her dream kitchen grin it was like Xmas for her applause

To see the excitment was priceless yay

Well I think there is nothing wrong with coming to this site just for the forums. Its like for myself. I just recently came back to the site after taking a break. Right now I am not ready for a relationship so therefor come here to meet people and make new friendships. I find the forums also a great way for distraction and a great way to discuss certain topics. Its also a great place for fun.

But also keep in mind that just because you join a dating site you have to expect to find someone quick. And you can't just focus your search and expectations here either.

Also thanks for sharing your view and there is nothing wrong with that :)

Sorry to see you go but I do wish you the best in life and who knows what life has around the corner for you right :o)

And of course thanks for the compliment :o)

The highlight for me today was my godson asking me to go and watch him play football tomorrow, he said, of all the people I know, you're the one person I would love it if you'd come and see me play..after that, how could I say no ? I told him I wouldn't miss it for the world..he ran up and gave me a big hug...kids, go figure, huh ?

Yes it is definatly a great feeling!! I can't wait till my son (9) and daughter (18 months) get to feel it too. My son keeps asking when he will get to feel it. He loved it when I was pregnant with my daughter and he said that was the highlight of everything. Getting to feel her kicks through my stomach. Too cute lol

And Yayyyy on the new dream kitchen!! I can imagine how she feels. I have a huge passion when it comes to cooking and my most fave room in a house is always the kitchen. A great place to cook and converse with people you love and everything.

peace

I knew when I posted that I would be taken wrong so why did I post it? I am a slow learner I guess. I was not suggesting forums are wrong. that is why I said it is fine if that is what you want. I was just suggesting I can not keep up with this because I do not have that much time on my hands. For those that do all the power to you. I also do not expect to find someone quick. I have waited 3 years now since my divorce because of choice and I am not so desperate to just jump into things. That being said thanks for your feedback.

Awwww that is too sweet.

My daughter is 18 months old and she is the most affectionate little toddler. She just loves giving kisses and hugs and not just to me but with anyone she meets lol

She even kisses her little baby dolls and she will chase the cat around and kiss her too. Too funny lol

Just having my kids around for the weekend.

I love having them, and they love spending time with me! Today we went to the music store, and had a bbq. They're still young enough to get a kiss goodnight so I am treasuring every minute.

Awwww that is really sweet! Those kids are lucky to have you in their lives!

Unfortunatly there are some children who are not that lucky so hearing stories like yours always makes me so happy to know there are still good parents out there :o)

Today it was when my friends little girl hugged my girl after one of her seizures(not my girl)
The little 3 yrs old is weary of most people but this morning when her seizure was over and she was crying,my girl brought the kiten to her to make her smile, she then put her two arms around my girl in a bug hug.

Really nice.angel

The highlite of my day was when my boyfriends granddaughter called me gramma. She is 5 years old and is a very sick little girl. She has a rare blood disorder that causes her to bruise easily and is a severe bleeder. It was the first time i met her and i totally fell in love with her.

Another highlight was when my boyfriend told me he loved me for the first timeblushing . What a great feeling.smitten love
