In my opinion, a man a real man is one that is sensitive, caring, accepting, understanding. Some one who can make you feel safe, secure, and protected with him, as well as able to get the same from you and strong enough to allow himself to show his feelings, and not that he is is tough and can take it. A real man has limits of what he can do, and to admit that rather then to pretend things dont hurt him and act all macho is part of being a real man. A real man will show his feelings he will cry, and he will do his best at being the person he can be.
