He's a wonder to behold

His smile is contagious

His eyes sparkle and shine

He doesn't speak in words, but conveys what he wants

He's in the midst of discovering life

He's a bed hogger .... already knows how to steal the covers
and snores a lot too

He's got me at his beck and call

Has me wrapped around his little finger

He's peaceful and quiet most of the time

He likes to make different sounds

He enjoys watching cartoons

He loves animals

He likes to take afternoon naps and snuggle in bed

He likes the softness of silk

He likes to snuggle close

He's all this much and more ............. the little man in my life .... who I adore.

Dedicated to my grandson, Daniel.

He eats like a trooper

Keep a mental and physical picture of that moment. Very sweet when they are young. Warms your heart.

Well it's almost 7 months - Daniel is eating like a trooper, started crawling - has the bruises and scratches to attest to this new venture! Loves the cat and dog, but alas they are not too keen on him yet. Its wonderful to hear his laughter and the best yet is that he's finally sleeping through the night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a serious note, I became a "dog" owner, after she bit my grandaughter. The dog wasn't able to adapt to having a newcomer in the house :( As a result, rather than putting her down, I took her. .........and the dog is old also...and fine around adults.

Just trying to help~

Ah, you're so lucky to have him around.

My grandchildren live in Washington State.

I met one of my granddaughters when she was a baby for a short visit.

I've never met my other granddaughter blues

I'd love to travel there, but my youngest son's disability makes it too hard to fly & travel without help.

You are surely blessed!!! hug

Indy - good advice about the animals - have to watch them and the baby very carefully. Babe is still at the "grip the hair stage and whack them" ..... so generally I try to hold him and teach him to GENTLY touch them.

The dog is certainly there to assist when he's being feed~ and is more than happy to lick his fingers. I'm sure they'll become good friends once he fingers out how to feed the dog goodies.

Arabella - yes, I'm surely blessed and truly am enjoying each moment of learning and discovering. Makes me think that we all should become parents later on in life because for myself - its been probably twice as much fun.
