Maybe when they have sorted out the energy (oil) crisis we may just see a world with less borders and more altruistic love for mankind rather than as at the moment, for money
I heard yesterday that Bush was looking to get 46b before xmas to attack Iran. He obviously wants to go out with a bang.
Imagine what could be done with that amount of money if it was spent on health, education etc. I wonder if britian will give its support to his next mass murder campaign
I was on the marches to say no to the Iraq debacle which made not one iota of difference - they please themselves and have the cheek to call it democracy
I wonder just how many people have to march or protest to stop these flaming megalomaniacs from doing whatever they do - in our names
I will have to agree on all points the war has been making hard all over the united states. The price of gas keeps going slowly up and same with food and health care. Yet, The most shocking news I have heard so is for every 5 men that die in Iraq 50,000 will commit suicide, and those just some of the big problems we will have to deal with here. Then watch are health care go threw the roof. What I would like to see is Bush on trail for crimes against humanity. This a war we can not win but or government thinks it can. Sorry if I offended anyone.
If they just invested a small portion of the 'war machine' monies into researching alternative energy sources, then much of the problem would be solved.
I read something last week about some generators which work underwater, so wouldnt be an eyesore on any landscape or cause the problems that the tidal barriers do - I wish they would give those researchers just a fraction of the monies being wasted elsewhere - and stop killing people, on both sides
And that is the worst part of it all. when they do whatever the hell they want and give no thought to what the people who they are supposed to represent want.

sadly the world doesnt have enough resources to sustain the west, china and india, and at their current rate of development oil in the middle east will be exhausted within 30 years...tis time to pick your friends wisely..because unless cold fusion becomes available pretty fast it looks like our kids if not us will be witness to a downright straightforward battle for assets.
I have often wondered how many people would have been on those marches if they thought they would achieve anything - i just went anyway - but I do wonder at what it will take to have the voice of the people heard by people who presume to know better than us
The European Union is great....we have about 75000 Polish migrants here and they are great too! Now if we could just beat them (or anyone) at football!!!
Ah the political debates, my brother happens to be serving in iraq at the moment and i can tell you, call me selfish, i want the war stopped right now because of him and all the other soldiers over there that have to fight for their life in a war we really shouldn't be fighting now.
With the next president let's all cross our fingers that he'll pull them out let the middle east deal with their own problems sence they know what freedom and choice is like now i have a feeling they won't give it up to easily.
"This is my view, sorry if i have offended any one."
As with brition becoming a part of either, just stay your own you can do plenty well that way i would emagine.
