I certainly did not take your thread to mean you were advertising for another man.
IF someone is so upset because they misunderstood a post, to the extent a relationship has been walked away from...I would have to look closer at that individual.
As far as YOU taking the blame for messing up the relationship...Ummm NO. You canNOT be responsible for someone else's actions, or REactions to things. IF the person does not trust your word, then I cannot help but see a red flag here.

I know it is a new relationship, so maybe he isn't real secure in it yet. Sit back...let him know you are there and just let him think it out. If he cares for you, he'll know what is right. But, let's face it, new relationships tend to be skittish,
