.... may not be THE master of horror, but in my little corner of the world, he's pretty damned good.

Oo I mentioned this somewhere on here before..

But my children are all named after SK book characters lol.. well names I liked while I was reading them at the time. lol

Jake (from the Dark Tower - Gunslinger books).. Annie (Wilkes from Misery) .. and Gage ( Pet Cemetery) (or with an 'S' if you from the USA lol)

I was a beeeeeg SK fan back then

rolling on the floor laughing

That's neat, about the kids names.
My friend named her son Gage for the same reason.

I have heard personal things about S.K. from someone who knows him.

He's a super friendly, gentle, flower- loving guy ,BUT his kids are little MONSTERS, (the guy who knows them was their drivers ed teacher), so I figure that's who he gets some of his story ideas from!laugh

Used to be a big fan of King, but not any more. The tower series was nothing but a ploy for making money. Cliffhangers, give me a break, and the stories were far below the level of his previous novels, practically bored me into not even finishing them. And Thinner just plain disgusted me. What a pack of lousy, lying propaganda against gypsies that is just the kind of stuff that keep sheeple looking at us funny. I have actually run across morons who took that film to heart when it comes to what gypsies are and do.

IT WAS JUST F*CKING FICTION PEOPLE.
