Taking dance lessons is a great thing to do. You'll love it.
Hell yeah, I can Dance. I've been doing Pro/am competitions through the Fred Astaire System for four years. I also am into country dancing (line and partner) and can be found at the Sun or Caddy Ranch regularly. Our Swing dance club has monthly dances in East Lyme, CT. I've done everything from square dancing to belly dancing and almost every other type inbetween (Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha, (East Coast) Swing, West Coast Swing, Mambo, Salsa, Samba, Merengue, Hustle, Viennese Waltz, Quick Step......if I don't know it, show me a few steps and I'll follow you..... Check out my photos--I can dance!
Yep, I'm a tried and true 'danceahaulic' and proud of it!
Oh yeah, and I forgot one of my favorites, the Bolero! I do admit, I haven't been trained to do the Paso Doble, but I do know enough steps to at least get around the room doing it and can put the jump in the right spot!
There is nothing more romantic than for a man to take a woman in his arms and spin across the floor in a Viennese Waltz, just like in the movies.
