How many do like the snow, and like me like to watch it come down. There is always something exiting about watching the first snow that stay on the ground pile up.banana applause

Growing up in the country, we had a very large backyard to play in, and when the snow came down and covered everything up, we'd take those pails and shovels you'd normally take to a beach with, and we'd tunnel through the snow, then using a spray bottle with hot water in it, we'd spray the inside of our tunnel, that would freeze the hole open for us. We did that for whenever we'd get into trouble with our parents, and they'd chase us, we'd just dive into the tunnel and they couldn't get us, worked for awhile, just til we'd come out and go into the house...then they had us. Now whenever the snow falls (which where I live is more rain than snow) I like to go out with my camera, and take pics of some of the better sights to the snow, like how it collects on the hydro lines, or how high it sits on objects to show appox how deep it is

I like to go for a walk when the huge snowflakes are fallowing down around you and the air is so fresh. Then when you get home have a cup of hot chocolate and snuggle up with a warm blanket(since I don't have a man). The snow does not seem to be as high as I remember it years ago maybe it is because they take it away in trucks intstead of having snowbanks.applause love

Snow has it moments, especially when I don't have to work in it. However, it has a tendency to slow you down in the bush when its deep,....but then again, there aren't too many mosquitoes around when there's snow on the ground.

or in the case of BC here.... swim in it.
When I first moved to B.C. all it ever did was rain, rain, rain...
finally after having enough of it, I wrote to then premier Harcord (or whatever his name was) and suggested he consider changing the provincial flower to mold..and before you ask, no he never did return my email..I swear the provincial spring wear is scuba gear

I like the snow on 'warm' moonlit nights when all is quiet and you can hear the sounds of your boots crunching on the roads, the trees covered in a white blanket and big fluffy flakes lazily falling.

Then when I wake up,it should be gone.grin

I made quite the boo-boo years ago when I lived in Ontario. The winter
had become very harsh, snow all over the place, I laughted when I saw
a bunch of people out shovelling their driveways and sidewalks, and
thought to myself that I had the best idea, so I threw buckets of boiling
water on my front walkway, not thinking it would turn to ice, a couple
of hours later. I headed off to work, one foot on the front walkway, and
suddenly one foot up in the air, and bang, I landed on my fat you know
what. When I got up I noticed that the people I was laughing at earlier
were now laughing at me. Never used that so-called bright idea ever again.

BOO SNOW !!!!!
