I'm still aroundwave

Just working around the house today.

Karen, I know how you feel. I had two dentist appointments this week and one more next week. No more wisdom teeth and soft food for a while. I'm really craving a juicy steak right now. I wonder how that would turn out after a run in the blender.confused

Hiya

well i'm all here. i'm always all here (some may dispute that).

Instead of the usual quiet day, i had a raving lunatic woman clambering over the trucks which are parked backed up near my back fence (there is a small service station behind my house). I assumed this bizarre woman was with someone, and talking to them. I occasionally glipsed her as she clambered up on the back of the trucks. At first i tought she was cleaning them, then i thought she was doig some kind of modern art job on the cabs....she seemed too have oil or black paint on her hands and arms. I went off to do some work in the front yard. Later she was still there, by now still ranting but completely covered in the black stuff, face and everything.

I could hear that a fellow had spotted her and was tryint to talk to her. That didn't seem to be going too weel. It's very quiet round here on a Sunday. I became concerned and called the police. They turned up (i could just see the top of their car) and i think, after much negotiating, must have taken her away. Seems like she was totally covered in dirty grease or something. Very very strange.

That's my day so far....spose i shouldn't complain for usually having days where nothing happens.

life is a strange place, i will never understand it.

Hey footsies in the fluffy clouds wave

Well it's a full moonnnnnnnnnn and lots of nutty things seem to happen more often with nuttier people behind it laugh Sounds like the truck/oil lady was mentally challenged perhaps which is kinda sad but hey she was having fun no doubt lol Of course you did the responsible thing ringing the police.

Yep life can be a strange, weird and wonderful place but you know what how boring would it be if everything that occurs fell into the "normal" bracket.

Have a great week footsies!

Hehe, thanks!

It was stressful enough hearing this weird ranting all day only a few feet from my kitchen, but my worries increased when i knew some passing male was trying to have contact with her. It is kinda isolated down here where i am on a Sunday (it is a very industrial area) and i was praying the guy had good intentions, as it could have been an opportunity for other less-well intentioned acts to occur. That's why i called the police.

Yes, i think the woman was probably mentally challenged. I grew up as a kid in the middle of disturbing parental brawls and violence, and to this day, strange scenes and people yelling are still somewhat disturbing.

S'funny, sometimes life is so quiet and nothing seems to happen...and one can wish that something *would* happen. But it seems like when it does, it's for the worse, hehe. So i guess the quietness is okay, because things can get much worse....
