In a sense yes. It is a means to open a conversation, but it is also a way to show apreciation or fondness for someone. I flirt with sister in laws, and many women in real life. Its a little deeper than idle chit chat but still can be just that or can also lead to more... depends on the people, the intent and the understanding of each other...think of it a tool for conversation. Would you rather talk politics or flirt with someone. I prefer flirting...

But CS gives me the advantage to hone my flirting skills
casanova needed the ladies and satin.
davinci needed canvas and the ladies.
I need the ladies and the internet to perfect the Art of flirting.... Hopfully when i get really good at it i will have it out of my system and when "the One" comes along i can use my well honed artistic skills to woo her where i want her.
then i can paint our lives together with the passion of Casanova and the Brushstrokes of DaVinci...
