I've seen a lot of threads here about people curious about whether they would/should date based on age and here's a rather peculiar thing I've found in profiles that only I have observed.
In large part most of them including my own put an age range in that in that includes partners who would be 10-15 younger than ourselves, yet only 4-5 older. very curious indeed.
This kind of through me for a loop because I consider myself to be a rather open person when it comes to the possibilities of love and think it to be ageless, but finding that is rampant in profiles as well as my own .... well .....

If I were to put 10/15 years older than my self Id be asking for a shovel and heading towards the cemetery.

I have a friend who's motto used to be nine to ninety and up to ten days dead. maybe needing a shovel wouldnt be as bad as needing a pitchfork assuming you'd have to dig so deep that get that far before you found them

If I have any hope of ever finding a date...I'd better leave this alone.

Well Tallnthin, I guess I'm guilty of the same thing! I guess when I really think about it, I find my comfort lies within the ages of which I am familiar. And never having been older than I am at this very moment, I find myself balking at the thought of moving forward into unexplored territory. Seems silly because sooner or later I'll end up there anyway. Fears is fears, I guess.

I've put the age from my age to 12 - 13 years older than me. I never even thought about putting any age lower than me. I don't seem to get anything from my age or older, so why would I get someone who is younger than me inquiring.

I think the youngest iI would date would be 5-6 yrs younger...older I have no problems with but that's just me.
