Probably like Detente rightly pointed out , maybe parents sometimes propagate these differences.
All the more reason for adults to discuss and evolve so they dont inflict the same attitudes .

Parents DO propogate these tendencies, but it goes deeper than that. It's about simple right and wrong. Why parents are so apathetic teaching their children proper morals and ethics is beyond me.
However, there is hope.
My cousin used to tell his own father off for racial comments, and he was only 14! He saw the world through informed eyes...or rather, his mum had instilled within him a deep sense of right and wrong.
He, and his two brothers were genuinely good children, and will go on to make fine boyfriends and husbands.
They understood the value and need to love!

We as human do not do research or even try to find the truth... we just form our own opinoins and then spout them out...
It is based on finding a word or a phrase that would incite hurt into another for ones anger in that person.

In fear of sounding like a ignorant a**hole I think this thread is absolutely pointless.
All that have been said here or what ever else might be said on this topic should be self evident. Hate feeds on attention, fear and self doubt. I don't know what has transpired here but I imagine some small man used offensive words and got you all hot?
Question is why here on this forums? Because if he goes on a street and yell something of a sort there would be painful consequences. I'm not saying we should ignore next bigot that come here. I'm saying they should get no satisfaction from their hate. Let it consume them. Let it eat them until they realize there is nothing left. If I see a post full of hate I'll simply report it. Let mods take care of it. Emotional stability of wonderful people here is more important to me then some hate filled person.

nothing we can do about it... at any point in our lives we will offend someone and that is the fact.
the question is mostly , how would we handle it.
i must admit I'am human as all others... well with the exception of a couple of aliens...
I do not always handle it properly nor do i expect it will always be done so.
but i think it should be between the ofeender and offended.
And it really isn't anyone elses business... so maybe a few more mouths shut would allow a situation to fade quickly... Fuel and fire always have the same result.

Then take into account that these wonderful people who would bring a luagh or smile to you... Live the same miserable life everyone else does...
