riya,good start.Mature attitude,but of course some people want to make it all a joke,till it happens to them.I love all people.I am a Christian and have freinds that are Jewish or agnostict.Point is no person is better than another.Why did that sick thread get so much replies.Why didn't people ignore?I way to stop it.Think you know which thread I mean.Good thread,people need something to calm their nerves right now.

Venting is fine with me !!!! but make it positive for you and non offensive to the others is my idea..

Riya when the bubble bursts, instinct takes over. You use the language that comes naturally and the words may be said with venom and feeling.
But when the venting ends and calm is restored they know they have done wrong and regret what they have said. This person will now never have the chance to apologise even if they wanted to. Another misdeed he has to carry with him causing further internal anger and stress.
But as understanding caring Humans we should be understanding of this anger. We should stand back and block our ears. And when calm returns, Then ask how they really feel. If they feel that way but can express it in a calm coherent manner then take offence Or turn your back and move on quietly.
I know none that happened is about you neither is this post.
It is a generalised posting aimed at trying to get people to understand anger and let it vent with out encouraging it. A similar process is used in fighting out of control bush fires.
It is a reflection of the over political correctness we live in. Words shouldn't cause such ire. And emotion should bring caring and understanding not anger and retribution.

however it was mentioned it was a kamikazee mission initially
i cannot save anyone from themselves
i can be kind but i am also allowed to have bouindaries or to realize when i am not the one that will make a difference
that guy has a god and i aint it
i dont have to feel responsible for everyones well being
this world is flooded with a multitude of avenues for wholeness and wellness
especially for someone who has been thru the 'system'
if someone is not ready it is only somewhat likely
that i will be the one to say something magical to set them right
and i do not say this as license to be an a**hole
but as a human-i have my limits...so sometimes i am not perfectly compassionate

it was a nasty ordeal...but theres always a good thing that follows the bad, if people look hard enough. sorry it was at ur expense Lusciousmile, but as you seen you were not alone. to see ppl who in reality dont know eachother come from all over the world and rally in defense for one person...regardless of our disagreements, petty words and anger we have had with each other at one time or another, it just shows we can come together as one. love to you all...

I listened to a song tonight, from a local artist. She wrote;
