Most of us are very skilled with our hands, and like to build and craft in our spare time.

I like to build guitar amps and it is something I learned from a good friend, a professional, but everyone likes to putz with something. Maybe you're good at scrapbooking or stained glass, or poetry. I have little time lately for it, but I love to build things!

Although I work in a kitchen (I'm a chef), I have also worked on computers for over 15 years, bascially just a hobby. I build them, of course and do maintence, upgrades, pretty much everything. I am now also into computer graphics, and animations. I have just a couple of what I refer to as my "Computer Doodles" on my profile. I am also in the process of setting up a myspace.com profile where I plan on putting up several of my computer doodles, just for the hell of it

Carpentry and mechanics. Rebuild old classic motors,....love wood (go figure). Have built foot stools to log cabins,....but if they don't look right I put a few grooves in them and call them "ashtrays". Have damn near killed myself with a wood lathe on several occasions,....what was left, a few grooves later became ashtrays. I also like to "spark" (weld) and have made some very cool metal ashtrays! I built a greenhouse last year, but a hail storm did it in,.....

That's what I do. For a living and for fun. Cars, welding, carpentry, you name it. I need to get out more....I don't mean the lumber yard or the scrapyard either.laugh

I used to make websites long ago on my days off and became good enough at it to start a home based business. However computer technology and programming took off to the stratosphere and continues to! so I was just left behind and folded the whole thing in 2003. I can make some decent "simple" sites now for friends or fun but I don't have time or energy to delve back into it professionally!

I've been doing cross stitch, knitting, sewing, and other crafts since I was like nine. Carpel tunnel keeps me from doing the crafts that I love to do for gifts. I taught myself how to Crochet.. and so far I'm doing a blanket.. at least that's what it looks like for now. laugh

I am a puzzle nut as well. Prefer to not look at the picture on the box, and I like to map tack em.. cover in clear plastic to hang on the wall.

i'm a real home body..I like to knit, bead, cross stitich, puzzle...anything to keep my hands busy when the weather's too nasty to be outside. I also have the issue of always giving away the projects I complete (except for the puzzles..they just go back into their boxes till next time I'm bored)
I'd rather be cutting the grass or playing in the flower beds.

I like to make earrings, necklaces, bracelets. I use beads and stones, still a novice, but my last couple pieces looked really nice, a few of my friends even wear some of my stuff. I also make houses-on Sims 1 for PC, which I think counts as well...peace
