I MIGHT keep it a while.. watch the news and read the papers to see if someone comes forward to having lost it.
If it were someone's life savings.. all the money they had from everything they sold etc.. something like that... then yes.. I would hand it straight in. Because that would DEFINITELY make the news wouldn't it.
