It would be very tempting I admit, but no ,unless the owner didn't claim it,then it would be mine. Then after taxes I may be able to go out to Burger King for a meal
Leave it there and run for your life like crazy.......if you turn it in.....the IRS will think you found more than that and are hiding it. Then they will be on your butt for life. Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnn!
that amount of cash just lying around like that is probably ill-gotten gains & i feel only bad things would happen if i kept it. i would turn it in & IF by some miracle it remained "unclaimed" & i got it back i would probably divide it up amoung several local charitable orginazations.
I once went running after a man down Market St in Manchester, he was at the cashpoint before my friend and I and had taken his card out but lefte a wadge of £10 notes - I think he didnt give me one of those notes as a reward cos he was stunned at what had happened - well, thats my charitable explanation for his meaness
A million dollars - phew, maybe I would think twice for a moment, but not for long as I reckon bad money never sticks which could be why it was lost in the first place
LOL, it would be my luck it was part of some sting operation. Like the FBI planted it there to catch the kidnapper of some multi-millionaire's child or something and the second I picked it up, I'd be surrounded by men with guns.

If I found an unattended briefxcase in a public place I would be calling to report it, not touching it, so I would never know it had a million dollars in it.
I am generally honest.. though i have to be honest and say it would be a real struggle... particularly after Haemorrhaging so much money this Christmas
