I am most looking forward to being with my family, and seeing all the kids open their presents and walk in to see what "santa" has left for them!! After shopping for three sisters, three brother in laws, three nephews, two neices, my two kids, and my parents... not to mention the angel tree donations where you buy gifts for underpriveledged kids, yeah I am just about broke!! I think my family is getting too big these days, maybe next year instead of five gifts per neice and nephew I will cut back to two or three!! Would save a lot of time and money!!!
You should check around and see if they have any charities in your community that help with Christmas for the kids. I volunteer at one here, we set up christmas trees at local stores with gift tags on them. The tags have the kids first name, their age, and what they want to get for Christmas. People take a tag, buy a couple of gifts from the list, and then briing them in to the shop. We wrap them and sort them into the families boxes, then contact the family when they have packages to pick up. Maybe you have something similar where you are. Keep an eye out in the stores, and check on the tags if you find a tree, then you should be able to get the contact info from there. However our deadline is past for accepting any more kids- though it wouldnt really stop us from doing so, we would just sneak them in!! Good luck and Merry Christmas!!
Are you kidding? Man! I ran out of money a month ago just waiting on the next paycheck and man is it gonna rock! thats what Christmas bonuses are all about
UMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...I'm looking forward to spending time with my family....esepecially my kids..They are 16 but somehow they still seem to get excited cause I still keep everything a total surprise...Hey at least it's fun for me!!!!!!
I'll be out here on the road running making money , but the main reason for that is to let someone else off the hook this christmas from having to make a run and let them be at home with their family, the only person I have at the moment is my brother and he'll be out of town with his family any ways so it works out.
I agree with this statement! My all time favorite Christmas was spent with my dad- parents were seporated- he had been injured at work, and he was broke. We went out on his land, cut down a "charlie brown" Christmas tree, and decorated it with strung popcorn and cut out paper ornaments. There werent any gifts, just a meager meal that we all helped to throw together, my sisters and I were all less than about 15 or so, I was only about 7 or 8. It is the best momery of Christmas I have from being little!! Just to be together as a family!!
Now its all about shopping, spending money, trying to get my kids too many presents, and make sure they get the same amount of stuff so neither is mad... Its just not what it should be anymore. Maybe next year I will do things difforently!!
