When breaking up with someone I want to know what causes us to want to hate that person rather than just letting go and enjoying what we had? Why is it that we revert to anger?
I think that possibly....we can't believe that the person we loved so dearly and trusted soo much has hurt us in such away...I remember feeling like my heart had been ripped out...and then I seen how he seemed to move on so much quicker and easier than what I did...it made me very angry.....it seems to be a human natural process of licking our wounds...
anger is in all of us--- if you choose to use this emotion that has come from within you -possibly from past issues that have not been dealt--- then the barriers of indifference will ,I believe be raised and or reinforced --- choose the love - keep it fresh energies and alive using the pain to fuel it -- it aint easy love never is - at the very least it will keep your love pure
defense mechanism. the "hate" will diminish over time... eventually you'll hit acceptance and you will be able to reflect on the good times you had....
i seldom use the word hate...it gives me a bad feeling. I save it for something that is worse then the worst, so its for that time...so far i havent used it much, cuz things could always be worse..
I just dont like things or ppl alot sometimes..or i think i almost hate it, but not quite..
Love and hate are part of the same emotion...It's easy to become angry and hate the fact that we couldn't make the other person love us...it's a loss of control and allowing the other person to have control over our feelings and emotions, but really the hatred says more about us then it does them...It says we still have some strong feelings and emotions for that person that we haven't dealt with yet...It's only when we feel nothing (on an emotional level) that we can honestly say we have moved on!!!!!!
