haha I know i know but it gets me soo

My lil sister sat by the phone all day christmas waiting to here from her dad and she got nothing and now her bday is in 10 days and she's so upset because she knows she will be let down.

things like that are horrible aren't they.
I remember when mine where younger.. and their dad would arrange to take them out at the weekend..
They would be excited and go on and on and on about it all week.. and on the day, they would be up ready, and sat by the window..
waiting.. and waiting.. and waiting..
Until *maybe* 3-4hrs later he would call me to say *Sorry .. something came up*..
Then left me to explain to them (AGAIN) why daddy didn't show up.

I met a great guy thats really stepping up to the plate as long as i want him their and it was something that i wasn't expecting at all. I didn't think i'd be seeing anyone for a while especially w/ a kid now but he doesnt care one bit it isn't his.

Yep I have a friend that happened too.
They met when she was about 7mths! pregnant.. fell madly in love.. went throo the rest of it together.. and they now have two more children and have been together 8yrs.

I think what's hard though.. is that it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the fruit bowl..
There are far more nice men.. dads.. boyfriends.. etc out there.. than there are crappy ones.

Yep.. but it's the same for men too.. plenty of them get hurt by crappy women..
and are as afraid of being hurt again as some women.
