no, nothing is wrong with being 18, but 18 is the legal age, but 18 is not a responsible adult yet, and if he is looking to party and some one to mess around with, what are the consequences of his young behavior, he could drink and go out there and while driving kill some one, 18 is a legal age, but is not an adult, who works and pays his bills and can take care of himself to its entirety.

yep i remember when i was 18,
and i was an adult....... and i had a job and made my own money and lived in a shared house with 3 other girls paying my own rent
ive a 21 year old step daughter and when she was 18 she had her own apartment and was living in spain following the career path she had chosen
a very wise and very focused young woman and im very proud of her
maybe a lot of 18 year olds are immature, but not all are
