it depends with the size of the killing mind and intent and the size of the effort that you pay physically and specially mentally create the size of your ''sin''(bad karma)
karma = ''action'' , correctly speaking denotes the wholesome and unwholesome volitions (kusala & akusala chethana) and their concomitant mental factors,causing rebirth and shaping the destiny of beings.these karmic volitions become manifest as wholesome or unwholesome actions by body, speech and mind. thus the buddhist term ''karma'' by no means signifies the result of actions , and quite certainly not the fate of man, or perhaps even of whole nations (the socalled wholesale or mass - karma),misconceptions which, through the influence of theosophy,have become widely spread in the west.
definitely mind take the first place to create a karma. but fullfill a karma of killing the living beings there are some other four things must be need. i'lll explain later...
{'''Generally you must say it´s a bigger sin, but not in the religion way, but in the morally way, to kill an elephant instead of an ant...because we have to save this wonderful animals against extinction...'''}
yes my friend i totally agree with it. we must save them. and as i'm a vegetarian i'm already doing it in a meaningful manner.
hmmmmm....so if there is a choice between killing a midget or a giant......it's better to go for the midget as it is a lesser sin......hmmmm size matters after all
nor the size or effort are relevant.....it's the initial intention to kill......and that is the sin......the intention and the consequent execution of that intent.....the rest is just blah blah blah
