Bad things happen to everybody

I never wonder about this.
Reason being is that everyone will be handed life lessons throughout their lifetimes and when exam time comes, we all take the test.

Perception is everything .........
The rain can come down and one will think its great for the ducks! and another will be cursing because they don't like to get their hair wet. Kids would love it because they could jump in the puddles created by the rain.
One can die and leave those behind devastated; while others may be sad but content, knowing that the person has been released from their pain and suffering.
I think for the most part - things simply happen - some are in our control (decisions that we make for ourselves) and others are not - "good" people - what defines good? Should only the "bad" people have things happen?
Personally I've found strength of character in those "bad" things happening - and truly most of them weren't so bad when I took a step back and got a better perspective.
