I think of jail a lot. Never been to prison but believe I live in one, solitary. I can however, fix up my cell anyway I like. The food's a little better. There's no 250 lb., head shaved guy sleeping near me. Yard time is OK., I can wander around outside with no search lights trained on me. Visits are a bummer, none. I get all the TV privileges I want though. Lights out at 9:PM could be changed. I need a conjugal visit. We'll just talk and hold hands. Play cards and eat vending machine chocolate bars, bring some please. The right woman can expedite my release. I know your there, likely on this site.

Paws,

You're lucky to live in Canada!

My last girlfriend lived in Gravenhurst just north of Orillia.

Those Canadian woman are GREAT!

It's a shame that crossing the border can be such a hassle at times. One time I went to visit her they kept me in customs for four hours just because I had $7000 cash with me. Wtf? If I would have known that was going to be a problem I wouldn't have taken so much cash with me. Either that or I just wouldn't have offered that I had it. They asked and I answered honestly. I never dreamed that it would be a problem!

God, you'd think I was a criminal just because I had money on me! That was the Canadian Customs too. For some reason I never had any problem getting back into the USA, probably because I'm a citizen of course.

Anyway, those Canadian woman are great! You'll find one soon I'm sure!

Let me share something with you Paws,

If you should happen to connect up with a younger woman don't think twice about it!

The Canadian woman I just mentioned was 13 years younger than me. I was hesitant to encourage things because of our age difference. In fact, I think I subconsciously sabotaged the relationship for her sake thinking that she would be better off with a younger man.

The result is that she ended up connecting up with a man who was even older them I am!!!

Don't even try to do anyone a favor. Just go with the flow. I now currently have a "girl" who is 29 years younger than me hitting on me. She's everything I ever dreamed of. She's an extremely intelligent geeky nerd and she's as cute as hell.

What am I going to do now???

Have I learned my stupid lessons? Will I make the same mistake twice in a row???

Sometimes life is just too damned complicated.

Let me out! Set me free! Is this really a life sentence or what???

I just want a compatible PEER partner damn it!

Almost all my aunts were 10 to 13 years younger than my uncles. But they also all married at fairly young ages. The men probably in their early 30's and the women in their late teens or early 20s'. For some reason the age difference seem more realistic in those cases.

But your right. I really shouldn't have even thought about it. I blew it all for a number.

In my current situation I think things are a little bit different. Although, I'm not sure. Spending a really great 10 or 20 years with someone and then letting her go could be the best thing for both of us. Hell, even spending a good 5 years together and then setting her free for greener pastures would be better than to have never loved at all right???

Everyone I know who is close to me is encouraging me to ignore the mathematics. :o)

They probably have a point too. Why risk never finding love when it's staring you in the face???

I hear what you are saying about the older women too. Mentality is everything. This particular "girl" is quite mature though. In fact, she's more mature that a lot of women I've met who are my age!!! She also comes compete with 3 adorable kids who are all young enough not to have been tainted by bad attitudes yet. A perfect opportunity to share my natural fathering talents.

Look out cruel world, I'm talking myself into this. ;o)

My prison is a self made torture chamber.

Darkness is full of secrets....
the heart has been twisted

The walls whisper silently......
my bridges are burning.

Amid the echoes of cries in the night....
at the end of the path waits.

Minds confused and willing to share.....
conflicted emotions and nothing.

What may be left is not enough.....
We have made our own cage.

I fear that it will not be long, and those doors will close, the key will lock and is there any escape?

I know more than just a few people that are married with kids living, what seems, the "good" life that in private tell me of a different tale. They feel as if they have built walls around them.
