Actually, not bragging or anyything, I think I am. I have loved to sing for a long time and I practice alot when I am alone. Works out good that way because that is when you are most at your ease. I can do anything from Shania Twain to Faith Hill to Kelly Clarkson to Jessica Simpson.
I had throat surgery last year to remove a possibly cancerous mass. They would not know until they removed it. Luckily it was benign. Before the surgery, I had statred to lose my voice and could barely spea. I was told when I had the surgery that there was a possibility that my vocal cords would be damaged and I would never sing again. Directly after I still could barely speak and it took me a while before I could even carry a note.
The way it turned out, the last few months I have been able to build up more range and carry longer , higher notes, and my voice has even developed kind of griity edge when I want it to. This makes me very happy because I love to sing just for the sheer pleasure of it and as a sress reliever. I practice most often in the car and the day my car radio broke I didn't know what to do with myself to and from work, it was funny.

Maybe Terrance and I can start a singing duo, lol!

I can not sing,lol...My ex told me once ,Honey I knnow your singing and you know your singing ,but the people next door may think I am abusing you...;-))

I thought I could sing until I decided to do kareoke once at a wedding. No, it actually depends on what I'm trying to sing and how much alcohol everyone else has consumed.

I suck at singing. Can't even carry a tune, and I use to take chorus in elementary school.(LOL)

I am a songwriter, but not a singer. If I stay in key for an entire song, it is purely accidental. I then check the news to ensure that the Earth is not on a direct course to crash into the sun.

Just to give you an idea (if you really give a flying fadoo), I once sang Foreigner's "Waiting for a girl like you" at a karaoke bar for my girlfriend and it went rather well. I was on key and I still had a seat when I was finished. However, I then decided to sing "I want to know what love is" the following weekend for that same girlfriend at that very same bar. How quickly those people forgot how fantastic I was the weekend before, as they were very quick to dismantle my chair and pitch it outside behind the bar...leaving it for kindling.
