I say to get to know the person very well...online...on phone..and i think people rush to quickly...i think that is a very big mistake...but i am only speaking for myself..i think both parties will know when the time is right and only them will know

I thinks is best not to leave it to long, once yoy have chatted and feel that you could spend time in each others company I would say go for it...I dont think you can really tell if you will connect with someone until you actually meet.
