A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, ‘What does love mean?’
The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined See what you think:

It really is too bad that it doesn't survive childhood. For some people, it does, but others are so jaded by the rest of the world that they don't think about the possibility that there are stil lpeople who are like that.
Love is singing Frosty the No-Man with your cousins' children, and offering to take them all outside to play in the snow.

I love children...
I agree, When it does survive childhood it is probably judged as dysfunctional, I have read some time ago that Linguists have discovered that the initial formation of language in children, which we would correct, is in fact already linguistically correct and we force our rules which are incorrect on them. serious food for thought there.
The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman’s yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.
When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said,
‘Nothing, I just helped him cry’
More than often silence means more that a thousands words
If I may to add, Biker-Gardener :^) ... though it doesn't connect to a children view of Love. Still i think it is a perfect example of real Love
Happily Married Biker
Badass Biker Bob wakes up at home with a huge hangover. He forces himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins and a glass of water on the side table.
He sits up and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. Bob looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotless, clean. So is the rest of the house.
He takes the aspirins and notices a note on the table: "Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping. Love you."
So he goes to the kitchen, and sure enough there is a hot breakfast and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating.
Bob asks, "Son, what happened last night?"
His son says, "Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and delirious, broke some furniture, puked in the hallway, and gave yourself a black eye when you stumbled into the door."
Confused, Badass Bob asks, "So, why is everything in order and so clean, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?"
His son replies, "Oh, that! Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off, you said, "Lady, leave me alone, I'm married'!"
Just in case any of you Atheists thought I was losing it, the quote at top of OP is not mine, (Found this little post from the quantum touch forum. Love, the basis of quantum touch!)
After rummaging around the site a little they wanted me to send them dollars so as my soul could be saved, does that mean that they are like a bank, or wonder could I sell it freelance, feel a new thread coming on.
