Aries01: i know cause at one point he had to get a job in a fast food place when he could no longer sustain himself on the land... u know to stock up on supplies again... symbolic I guess..
I do sometimes fantasise about escaping the hum drum of this existence though...which seems to be more about sustaining oneself and little else... I should have become a hippy while I had the chance.. now I can't afford to
I gave up city life a long time ago, even before I left. I don't mind visiting but would never want to live in a city again. Here in my new place I'm far removed from all that crap. I'm surrounded by mountains and wildlife. Some of my friends are envious but it really is as simple as making a choice and a bit of hard work.

Well seeing as almost nobody replied to the almost identical thread i put up earlier, i miight as well jump in here.
Given the weather right now in the UK and the forecast for the rest of the weekend, indoors seems the best bet.
Although i do have a moutain bike meet in the Welsh hills to look forward to on Sunday. That is if those guys at the bicycle shop can pull their fingers out and fix my bike in time.
Way Too Much Fun Here.........Let's see........Hmmmmmm
I get to search pawn shops for my stolen equipment!!!!!! (I 'm so happy about that)
And..........I'm going to help my ex-girlfriend build a case against her horrible ex-landlord who is trying to rip her off!!!!( cleaning up after somebody else is always fun but I'm a helpful shmuck!)
In all; I have willingly agreed to enjoy a weekend of mental fatigue, stress, and probably being letdown!!!!
