Indyfella: Half of the stuff I spew is just trying to get people to use the thought process. Some things I have fervent beliefs about~~

The more I think about it though, Obama may be the Second Coming~~

Indy I believe you are starting to use your thought process. applause cheering cheering

opalbeauty: Paleeze, where do most of us get our information from....there is so much news and information on the internet. It is good that some people do reseach. So you are saying that the only information he can find is Michael Moore's docmentary, that is the same dishonest tactics you use that annoy the hell out of me. All for your own interest.
Now there is a slick, subtle way of putting words in people's mouths.

Reread TTOM50s Post and your post againscold thumbs down

That is my opinion. It is just the way I read his post. I thought he would receive reinforcement eventually but just because you agree with him doesn't make my opinion or observation any less valid.

I did reread it and I still disagree about not being able to get plenty of accurate information from the internet. That is how I do most of my research.

Well, I have to confess. Back in the 90's I guarded Hillary and Chelsea when they went to Kosvo. It was certainly dangerous....bullets everywhere.

Now I'm guarding Reverend Wright. Actually......it's not guarding, I'm holding him captive in my basement until Obama gets elected.

rwantin: Indy has been around a long time - a lot of us know him, and for that matter, don't really care whether he has a pic or not. He may be the opposing point of view, particularly in my case, but he always treats others respectfully. JMO.

That, and I have owned two Corvairs.

The point I make here in the post was that media and internet sources give thier own slant to coverage. That if you use a bias
source your conclusion/opinion will be bias. Smart online researchers both qualify thier sources and use sources that are as reputable as possible.

They then double and triple check them, if they can.

Dude comes at us as if he has a complete knowledge of United States at times. And the only viable solution to our troubles is Obama.

I am not against online research or to find good sources in it. Knowing those sources and thier vericity is important. Also knowledge of the topic and using solid source is important to have a fair and honest opinion developed.

Would you take alot info from say the Cosh site or from another 'hate' site? Or say from a Nigerian web site knowing the net scams that develop in Nigeria? How about Russian sites? If you do, you run some real risk to getting burned badly.jmo

Thanks for writing Tom. I did feel bad after rereading what you wrote and thought I was being too hard. Although, I do believe that we are all wrong sometimes with the best knowledge we have. He may not have it all right but he does a good job and I do believe he really is concerned and cares about America and Americans. And he makes a lot of sense to me and seems to be right more often then you guys give him credit for. I know he is not right about everything, neither are you or I. But it is obvious to me that he does his research.
