Can't say I've done any jump roping or touch football lately, but I stop the rat race every weekend. I take road trips, I go to places where I've never been before, just to experience something new and different. Today, I have just returned from a trip to a city named Volos. It was a mere 3 and a half hour drive each way; I left yesterday, booked a hotel, and enjoyed the hell out of my weekend. I stopped along the way and saw the monument at Thermopylae for Leonidas (if your history lessons didn't fill you in, perhaps the movie 300 might have told you about Leonidas).
OK...so, not kid-like, perhaps, but the spirit of adventure within me is alive and well.

Just spent 3 wks playing around in a big sandbox called Sahara, down in southern Libya. Rock climbing, camel racing...still sore...from falling too much...it had been a long time...It felt great to get away! %D

Just this last summer and thankfully my knee surgery is about healed up so I can get my rotator cuff worked on

I went out and bought some roller skates for myself last weekend (in a toy shop
) and went skating in the park.. it was great fun.. I'm not very good at it though.. gonna go practicing again tomorrow
