Did anyone bother to READ THIS thread or just the other one.

this one was is not a joke. My mom died of a heart attack.

She would have laughed. Why? Because no one ever said that Erika had had a heart attck or was dead.

You want to know how to survive a heart attack when you're alone?

Then READ THIS THREAD.

BeautifulEri: Please guys....we're sorry....just let it go...just don't post here anymore....Let this one go too...

I understand what u said T, and we didnt wanna open wounds, I have received many mails and I feel so lucky people DO CARE, you have no idea. It was NEVER our intention to hurt anybody. We are sorry we did.

I am sure we can see past this now...

I think I can speak as one of the many people who were hurt by that thread. As a few people here will know of the pain and anguish it caused me - I remember reading through the thread and being the only person who thought to mention the pain that the family must also be feeling (up to the point I read anyway - I did then go off for a while to write to a friend)

The point I am trying to make is that, much of the society in which we exist, is very much based around 'insensitivity' to our fellow beings - and death itself is decorated with little honour - sort of like, off they go to heaven, all will be well - the beauty is very effectively dismissed with these attitudes - death is a moving on, not only for the deceased but also for the people left behind - it is a thing of wondrous beauty, a traversal to the great beyond and a massive thing to get your head around - whichever side of the journey you may be experiencing... and believe me, there are people reading these threads who are in fear of leaving their loved ones behind, how they will cope etc. it is a very real fear for some people...... - not everybody can look death in the face and joke about it for they are not all inured to the pain it elicits.......

the one thing it most definitely is not - is a joke.....

I know you are both saying sorry and have realised it wasnt funny - at all - but before i can heal the pain it caused in me - I think I have to hit 'post'
