STEEL RACKER. My job was to lift steel pieces all day and put them on racks.
Although my hardest job was probably in 2006 when we built a shoe store. In the basement, oil leaked on the concrete floor and we had to excavate two feet under the ground to remove the oil. I literally dug with a pick through two feet of rocks and soil to remove the oil. A construction inspecter showed up on the site and told me that in 30 years he's been an inspecter,he has never in his life seen anybody do what I did by hand.
I've always enjoyed and taken on the toughest and most gruesome jobs.....I ENJOY THE challenge.
Another tough one was a few years back I did some work in a warehouse. My job was to roll 440 lb barrels onto pallets and place them in the warehouse.I was told by the manager in the company that I was the first guy in the company that was able to singlehandedly roll the barrels onto the pallet and do it without a second persons help.

Gathering spuds (potatoes), in February, breaking the frost and ice off the ground to lift them, by hand, no gloves, bent over double, back aching, legs sore, feet and hands freezing, lugging big boxes to the trailers for bagging, for 10 shillings (50 cents today's money) a day, starting 6 am, finishing 9pm.... aged 6-12.
