Pot Is misunderstood i agree, But its not the only natural drug becuase shrooms grow from the earth to even tho it they grow in Cow Poo. But anyway if someone drink to much beer or whatever they want to go drive or whatever but if you smoke to much pot you fall asleep
peoyteand magic mushrooms are 2 more naturals.I personally never had use for pot.Crazy enough as it was I was always told.Good or bad?Depends whose using it and why and can it bring them any problems.I agree about being a plant you can grow but for your own consumption and then not on regular basis unless medical need.Yes make it legal.Only because it's out there now anyway.

If adults want to do it, I really don't care. I have, and it's just not my thing, too unpredictable how it affects me from one time to another. I don't like feeling out of control.
The problem I've seen with pot is kids that start doing it in their teens, or even younger, it seems to stunt their emotional growth. Seen too many kids grow up doing it and still act like they're 13 when they're in their 30's, and not in a good way, like irresponsible kids.
it has its medical uses but people still put it down it does have avery mild from of acid in it (THC) put people got out and get drunk and endanger themselfs and others somebody gets high and drive you dont hear about a family of 4 being killed by a stoned driver and from the wise words of bob dylan "everybody must get stoned"

ACID?????? You better do some serious Research ,before you do anymore Drugs. You're in a Danger-Zone! Then Look up Marijuana-Induced Psychosis.
blntman420: just wanna see what people think of reefer
Never tried it myself - but I've heard that there are definite benefits for those who are suffering from cancer and/or other illnesses.
As for recreational purposes - in a safe environment and within moderation sounds reasonable. I do wonder at the long-term health risks involved though .................... as it does seem to create lasting effects (brain functioning) on those who endulge on a regular basis.
I think just because our governments pick and choose to legalize certain drugs - doesn't make one less worse than another. It ultimately comes down to the individual and how they utilize it. Take for example alcohol ....... its legal, but one of the most highly abused substances.

Yea i have problems with cannabis. I support people with mental health problems. And Cannabis has been a contributer to 75% of my clients psychosis. And now skunk is female plant - that contains high levels of psychotropic substances. I can forsee even more mental health problems in the future.
These are articles read on Cannabis and in my opinion from what i have seen through my work bear out these findings
Depression
A study following 1600 Australian school-children, aged 14 to 15 for seven years, found that while children who use cannabis regularly have a significantly higher risk of depression, the opposite was not the case - children who already suffered from depression were not more likely than anyone else to use cannabis. However, adolescents who used cannabis daily were five times more likely to develop depression and anxiety in later life.
T
Schizophrenia
Three major studies followed large numbers of people over several years, and showed that those people who use cannabis have a higher than average risk of developing schizophrenia. If you start smoking it before the age of 15, you are 4 times more likely to develop a psychotic disorder by the time you are 26. They found no evidence of self-medication. It seemed that, the more cannabis someone used, the more likely they were to develop symptoms.
Why should teenagers be particularly vulnerable to the use of cannabis? No one knows for certain, but it may be something to do with brain development. The brain is still developing in the teenage years – up to the age of around 20, in fact. A massive process of ‘neural pruning’ is going on. This is rather like streamlining a tangled jumble of circuits so they can work more effectively. Any experience, or substance, that affects this process has the potential to produce long-term psychological effects.
Recent research in Europe, and in the UK, has suggested that people who have a family background of mental illness – and so probably have a genetic vulnerability anyway - are more likely to develop schizophrenia if they use cannabis as well.
