Serenity1971: Magick has nothing to do with illusions, it is using energies and making things happen with that energy.
I was talking to someone earlier about this, and thought I would clarify this a little more.
Using energies (earth, air, fire, water, thought and emotion) is manipulating them from thought to emotion and changing the energy into what you want the result to be. ie. Telekinesis - Using a pure emotion such as anger or love and moving an object by throwing that energy you've created toward that object.
Manipulating in this sense is just about changing forms of energy into the things we desire. It's not about changing anyone in order to suit our own selfish needs.
