"All you idiots, fall out!" shouted the sergeant at the soldiers standing in formation. As the rest of the squad dispersed, one soldier remained at attention.

The sergeant stalked over and raised a single eyebrow. The private grinned. "Sure was a lot of them, huh, sir?"grin cool

"Fall Out" in the Military means that you can leave the Formation for Rest etc, while "Fall In" means to assemble into Formation for Exercise etc. (More or Less, since the Commands in the Swiss Forces where I served, are SLIGHTLY different)grin laugh wave

Excellent! Good one, Conrad!

Much nicer than the traditional British Army one:

'All those with mothers, one step forrrrrrrWARD!'

'Jones - who said for YOU to take a step forward, your father just called the Bn to inform you your mother just died!'

I hope to God that NEVER happened, but it seems that all 'drill pigs' know that rather nasty 'joke'
