guiriman: Another easy-to-make supper is cheese on toast.

ingredients:

-cheese - red leicester is by far the best cheese in the world for this recipe.

-sml onion. chopped into small pieces.

-2 slices bread.

-onion salt.

preprep:
1.thinly slice enough cheese to generously cover untoasted side of bread.
2.soften onion, without browning, in pan with enough butter to fry.

method:

1.toast one side of bread only.
2.place cheese on untoasted side
3.place onion pieces on cheese.
4.sprinkle onion salt over cheese and onions.
5.return to grill to melt cheese.

note: the onion salt makes this dish special. If you don't have onion salt, use sea or table salt.

Hey m, why don't you try out some other recipes i've got hanging around too. There's one for risotto and one for carbonara. I'll probably post something else at the weekend too. banana The recipe for cheese on toast and the one I posted yesterday were very easy, quick and fun. I was kind of aiming them at people who found themselves alone with no cooking skills. sleep well, mate.head banger

Sheepdip??...hmmmmm...sounds tasty....how do you make that??

This is becoming "Bachelor's Kitchen Corner"...so let me add another lil' recipe to make the home and hearth of the bachelor that much more comfortable and low-maintenance...

"Swiss Breakfast"

1. Make coffee
2. Open fridge door
3. Take out huge slab of nutty chocolate
4. Eat while enjoying your coffee
5. You're done

BLOOD BATH TIME!dancing yay banana

This is a very easy and highly nutritious quick dinner to make - can feed as many as you got spoons for.

Find an obnoxious person, decapitate them.
Discard the body part.
Tie off the neck with wire.
Using only the head, invert it over outside grill (using wood improves the flavour, but charcoal will suffice)
When the brains begin to boil out the ears and nostrils it should be done.
Using a chainsaw, lop off the upper part of the bony cranium.
Sprinkle with cheese, any sort, and a little salt and pepper.
Gather around any friends you still got - and scoop out and enjoy!

Note: The eyeballs are the best part! cheers

Wow, Cheese on Toast! Wot about Ham on Toast?.. or Salami? with a pickle on the side?

Sometimes, if you got nice neighbors, and you single, you can snitch those tupperware containers out their fridge thats got last nights left-overs in it .... much easier than making things yourself. Ideally one should have replicas of their plastic containers so when you go visit you replace their full ones with your empty ones, and so on and so forth? ..... Anyway, I taught my son to do that and it worked for quite a long time, till they put locks on their doors and then a 6ft barbed wire fence around their property with electronic gates. But then there are all the other neighbors to try it on....... at least until the entire neighborhood is sealed off from your house.cheers

Nah ... I found swigging whisky neat out the bottle is good!... that way you sort of forget exactly Who it is you eating......

Although, one can marinate the fingers and toes in the white wine (so as not to waste good sausalitos) and use them as tasties before the main meal - dont forget to trim the nails down, especially the Big Toe ones. ..... or give the grilled digits to the kiddies to nibble while they watching TV.

Personally I always go for the crispy ear parts - mmmmm delish!cheers
