This happened this morning in Grand Rapids about 2 blocks from my house.
The Aeromed Helicopter crashed on top of Spectrum hospital and burst into flames.
I saw the fire, it was pretty scary! The fire department busted *ss to get the whole fire put out in 20 minutes! Kudos to Them
thank God, no one was hurt in this. The Pilot, who is very experienced, was doing a practice flight with an FAA inspector when this happened. So there were no patients on the flight.
The Pilot and the FAA inspector have minor injuries and no one in the hospital was hurt.
But when the fire was put out, there was nothing left of the helicopter.
