I can boil water...

I am a pretty good cook. From grilling outside, to a whole turkey dinner.

Well, at least noone has gotten sick or died on me yet....laugh

I can cook indian food from scratch, thai and i'm learning the wagamama cookbooks and of course english full roasts etc etc with all the trimmings.

Unfortunately at the moment i'm off my feet an cant cook anything, and even if i did my nephew has used up all the plates, wont do the washing up in fact he was too lazy to go get my painkillers this morning and the only food i can eat really is yoghurt! Guess what, run out and so hes gone back to his room to play on the internet!

If i didn't have pneumonia i would dropkick him out my front door.So just after being discharged from hospital im in disgusting living conditions supporting a healthy 19 year old who cant even be arsed to collect a prescription from the docs less than 100 yards away.In fact its about as close as you can hit a tennis ball with a racket!

The sooner i am better the sooner i will get back to cooking! Meantime i have to work out is it easier to crawl to the car late tonight when the 24 hour tescos should be open or ask a neibour and make myself look foolish and basically beg for help when the lazy sod in the next room cant even be bothered.

Ricco, can you email me your recipe and il try it when i can, i'd like to compare it to my own.

Thanks

Rob

What I make is pretty simple...switched up to my tastes....but....

Chicken Curry
San Francisco Chops (something like a teriyaki pork chop)
Spaghetti (either with ground beef, sometimes with Italian Sausage mixed in)
Lasagne
Chicken Parmasean (super easy when you use prebattered & frozen chicken...lol)
3 Bean Bar B Que Beans
Phyllo Pie (this one takes forever!!)
and the basics, burgers, steaks, roasts

It's true.

My daughter is a good cook.

I think it's an artistic trait of our family.

She also paints.

Food should be enjoyed as a work of art.

My daughter's a very good cook too! I'll bet you had her right next to you in the kitchen, while she was growing up, didn't you? That's how my daughter learned.
