I'm pretty decent at grilling things like meat and vegies. I grill over a wood-only fire, no charcol briquettes for me. I also do a delicious aldente vegies stir-fry. Of course my hound never complains!

Cool ............. I'll look for it ................ I love people who share!!! Thanks. I find it so hard to get a "good recipe" ......... kinda surprising with so many cookbooks out there ........ but truly most of the recipes are just so/so.

I have never made a recipe that I didn't modify, they're just a starting point. I even put two different recipes together sometimes.
langleygirl: That doesn't matter ................. its the point of sharing wonderful recipes that counts!
Ok. I make this cake for Christmas because it's pretty. I got the recipe from Southern Living magazine years ago. Everyone says it's very rich. I don't eat it.
Make a jelly roll cake. When it's done, turn it out onto a tea towel dusted with powdered sugar.
When it's cooled, spread it with instant vanilla pudding. On top of the pudding, put drained crushed pineapple. Roll the cake up. Frost the entire thing with Cool Whip. Cover it all in coconut Then place red, or red and green marachino cherries down the middle of the top of the cake.
It's very pretty. I think it looks very Christmasy. And everyone says it's delicious.
