I like any movie where the "good side" triumphs over the "evil side" or where the "underdog" comes out on top.

A few examples:
Star Wars
Rocky
Gladiator
The Shawshank Redemption
Transporter 1 & 2

There are more but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

all STAR WARS episodes (the best are IV, V and VI - ), Indiana Jones (including new one). I like Spielberg movies (also Empire of the Sun)

All Kevin Smiths movies.

Pixar movies are also great and of course Wallace and Gromit.

Why not? There are great.
Maybe it didn't pump me up like "Shao Lin tzu" which I saw when I was very very young. I was practising Kung-fu on my return way from cinema to home.

BTW On monday I was in cinema on "Kung Fu Panda" with my son (his first time :) ) - OK but we was disappointed.
