That's what I usually think. Some I've gotten to know on the forums and decided they're ok, but when I get an email from someone with no pic that I've never talked to I am immediately suspicious. And I'm not going to give them my email to send a pic, they can be scammers or who knows what kind of freak. Are they hiding from someone? maybe
Some people get mad cause others won't talk to them without a pic, but I don't care. If you won't show your face, I can't be bothered. It'd be like talking to someone with a bag over their head. If ya ain't got nothing to hide, don't hide.

I know a couple of ambulance officers and teachers on here and thats why they don't post a pic here but will send one privatley I can understand that. I've talked to people who didn't have a pic up and one turned out to be a very good friend. Didn't have a clue what they looked like for well over half a year. Didn't matter.

Maybe that person is self-concious of posting a pic of themselves for fear that they may not be pretty enough or handsome enough. I don't know.
I've recieved several emails and flowers from people who don't post a pic and I still respond back to them just as long as they're not being a pest of themselves.
If they are hiding from someone that's just their cross to bare not mine.

Some do have work reasons, or possibly hiding from an ex., shy. Could be any number of reasonable explanations.

Didn't say I wouldn't answer them. I'll talk to anyone. And especially if I've gotten to know them already here. But if all they want is my email addy right off the bat, well, I'm a little more cautious than that. Not everyone is hiding something.
If their only reason is that they're self-conscious about what they look like, they need to work on that. I really don't care what anyone looks like, as long as they don't. People with a complex about their looks need to grow up in my book.
I've seen some people on here who have pics and then pull them, and they looked fine to me. I don't understand why they're ashamed of their looks/ It's just a part of who you are, but people shouldn't be ashamed of themselves.
