Foe me "solvent" means you are living within your means (whatever they are) and are not hoping to "be financially rescued" by a prospective partner ...

From Wiki:

'Insolvency' exists for a person or organization when total financial liabilities exceed total financial assets.
A related financial condition, sometimes referred to as cash-flow insolvency, exists when a person or organization can not meet its financial obligations as they come due.
In business situations, accountants in the US refer to this as a working capital deficit.

Yup, the SA politicians loved that phrase .... anything you didn`t have or couldn`t afford or couldn`t do was called Challenged. So, at the moment I am Actively Challenged and also Hungry Challenged, but not Vino Challenged ... I`m celebrating my new super improved pc! .. and getting back into not being Cyba-Conversationally Challenged.wine
