I worked in a restaurant for about 10 years ... I think Mothers Day is probably the day that I wouldn't want to go there because it is soooooooo busy ... dinner at home would be more relaxing. I think just acknowledging your mom is special... so just something simple is extremely sweet. Flowers are great because they are so beautiful (and its not like they are given all the time)... think about how many times in a year that you actually are given flowers..... hhmmmmmmmm so far 0 (for me)...
