Making inane comments is not any indication of ones intelligence or educational level - Have you ever sat in a Supreme Court and listened to Advocates?.. even a Supreme Court Judge makes inane comments - and everyone laughs..... and he/she has quite a high level of education, and most times they are also rather intelligent people.
Now ... you say you are "qualified" to judge what I write - but you do not say "How" or "What" qualifies you? .. you merely saying you "take the liberty to judge me".
Yes, I was amused ..... the people who attended the Get-Together that I attended were highly amusing and entertaining, and intelligent - VERY intelligent! Intelligent enough to have a sense of humour.

I note that non of the Maltese that I met have any problem with what I have written - only you two who were not at our get-together? I sincerely hope your vocation is not in the field of politics!

Just read through this thread ... OMG!!! Some people are just soooooooooooooo over zealous!!
Pity it's not possible to "pick up" a sense of humour OR a history of friendship whilst travelling and shopping abroad ... My qualifications to judge smokey were to do with her inane comments regarding the malteese get togethers. If that is her idea of amusing then she certainly has a very juvenile sense of humour that doesnt indicate a very high level of education.
