The other guy drove straight through a stop sign, and I t-boned him pretty hard. He was okay, but his car was demolished. I managed to drive away after a little massaging on the ol' van with a chain and a 5 foot prybar.

I hate dispatchers who have never even picked up a 125 pound lumber tarp (or two), let alone actually tarped a load, nonchalantly telling me "Oh, and go ahead and toss a tarp on it!" like it was the easiest part of my job.
Told one yesterday that the next time that happens, I was gonna' throw my rolled up tarps up on top and strap 'em down, then drive to the office and punch the piss out of him!

Damn Harry! Sorry to hear about that! One of our drivers nailed a little old lady who ran a stop sign yesterday. Everyone's fine, but her car was totaled and his truck needs some pretty extensive body work - He'll be moving into my truck while I'm off recuperating.

No, it's a '79 Ford. I bought it this spring with 66, 000 miles on it for a spare vehicle and something to go camping in. Great shape other than it's baby blue with firebird emblems down the sides.
I hate the way the insurance companies work up here. It's likely they'll want to write it off due to the age and the cost of repairs, and possibly because it's so ugly.
