Leana76: Why? The whole point of going to a great sit down and enjoy yourself restuarant is to eat a meal that you probably, normally, never make at home.
RillyNiceGuy: Many times I have seen people buy hamburgers for their children so they can eat steak! I have even seen them leave the children in the car while they have steak!
(I used to order one for the boys to split when they were little...they just couldn't eat a whole dinner by themselves. Now, they eat like horses, and I let them get what they want.)

It could also be that they really don't see anything else on the menu that strikes their fancy.
Different restaurants I have my standard that I'll order in them. And I've been known to order a burger, especially if I can't really find anything on the menu that I want.

And I think Fuddruckers has the best burgers.
Personally, I prefer the burger to still be going "moo" in a field!!!

I never tasted steak until I went out on my own. Only my father was allowed to eat steak in our house. I eat a lot of steak now!!
I manage a high end restaurant... and we have people come especially for the burgers. 100% sirloin steak ground here on the premises with a 15% fat to meat ratio... so they stay nice and juicy. We also do a couple of "stuffed burgers" inside the burger before cooking we put blue cheese and parma ham... in another we put chedder cheese and bacon. We also do home made fries that are fried in goose fat... crunchy and soooooo good!

Right those are great burgers , The ground steak ones, YUMMMY, you can't get anything like real beef at a fast food place. Oh and stuffed burgers are really great. It's why I will eat a burger at a nice restaurant sometimes. It's not 50 % soy or some other mystery stuff in it.
