desmond: Shelley I know you have just been doing that and I thank you for doing it and enjoying reading your post when you do but then i sit back and see people trying to attack you because it not want they want to read and even worst what you post is the truth and make them look stupid
and the thing is they don't directly attack a persons comments. They try to belittle the person, and make them seem like their opinions don't matter. They have become very condesending by taking what you say out of context or twisting it to say something totally different than what you said. These people feel they must try an make you feel stupid or that your opinions are less valuable that theirs

Not just politics but any rumours floating around... they use numerous sorces... list all of them and are completely unbiased... bloody refreshing to read facts instead of opinions and innuendo on both sides of the fence.

I would not use my last hours with my son before he went to war for a political stunt. tinymac.
As for being unique....he is the only military father here in the US.....and I know a number of them......that has done this. Biden did not. Nor did Palin. So for in the US, I would say it is unique.
Maybe the young did get the message.....that service to one country...is a noble thing....that sometimes will ask the ultimate sacrifice.
